We offer the opportunity for competitive chess at all levels.
We have seven teams in the Kent League and four in the Croydon League.
Internal competitions include a FIDE rated competition for the highest rated players and a handicap competition for all other members.
Social chess is not forgotten, and members often come just to play friendly chess. We also have two fun events: an annual Beckenham vs Bromley match where we divide the club somewhat arbitrarily and a quick play handicap competition at the end of the season.
